HMMWV Interior Trim Panels - Need Help Identifying/Finding

Gents,

I'm new to the HMMWV world, so forgive me if I don't know all the right descriptions. See attached pic. Front door openings, forward, from knee to foot, there is a sheet metal trim piece on either side covering that body channel. I'll call it A-pillar, or directly below that? I'm still a little fuzzy on exactly what comprises the A-pillar. These trim pieces are riveted in place. I think mine were removed when it was uparmored, not sure, but they are missing and I would like to find them. I've spent hours searching the part(s) manuals and I just can't find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm open to any wisdom you guys want to throw at me on anything HMMWV. Thank you in advance.

I dropped a 1/4 ratchet, extension and socket down in that pocket and I was thinking I will have to remove it to get it out. I fished it out with a magnet 1st try. Sorry not much help but it reminded me of it

If you ever find them, I would sure like to buy them from you. Thanks again Action! You were right on the straps, I ordered them from the corrected part number you gave me and they are perfect.

This is another example of something you can easily make with roof flashing and a few rivets and Behr paint, IMHO.

Reached out to Craig Boyk w/ Mac Motors on this one. That guy worked for a week and found the part numbers for them, and they do stock them, although not painted. p/n are 12338652-1A and 12338652-2A if anybody is ever in the market for them. See attached pics. They run $17.37 ea. I ordered the insulation that goes in these as well to keep from sharing a similar experience as Maxjeep1 described above. Thank you guys for the replies.

Insulation in those? Ive never seen that before. There is black insulation around the doghouse, though. Vertical and horizontal.

Apparently there is a black closed cell type foam piece you stuff down into the top of these to close them off. Not sure if a drop or two of anything sticky is required to keep it in place, but I'll find out soon enough. As TOBASH said, that is definitely something I could make myself, but I wanted to see what the material was and it was less than $2 so I just ordered it at the same time.

What is part number(s) for the insulation?

OK, got everything now. The insulation is definitely correct as the cutout fits around the structural T'd section and fits right in the top of the closeout panel. I'll post pics soon, BUT, Action, when you took yours out, was there any kind of sticky (not sure the right word) goop between the closeout panels and the A-pillar? Where they used to be, before mine were removed for uparmoring, it looks like it had some kind of goop installed by AMG I'm now sanding to get a smooth fit. You know what I mean, right? Body panels are sometimes assembled with some kind of jizz between them, albeit, maybe not for HMMWVs.

I dont remember and secret sauce. Once the rivets were out, the pieces came out.
