HMMWV M998 Alternator upgrade

I have a 1989 Army HMMWV with the 6.5l and the alternator pictured here is dead.
Can I swap out the alternator shown with a Niehoff N1602 28v 400a alternator shown here?
Any help is appreciated.

That's a 60amp....you don't want a 400amp. The upgrade is the 200amp, the kits are available for cheap.
so are the take out 200amp gens. That 400 is way to much power and requires totally different mounts.

Is that eye bolt on the 400 amp to allow you to use a engine hoist to pick it up???
