Those tops were for C series civilian builds…that’s why there is no Turret hole.
Any auto glass shop can install a window into the rear wall…I’ve done a couple in the shop.

Oh man... my wife has wanted me to look into a rear window conversion for a long time. I prefer the look of the stock metal plate but she thinks it would be easier to navigate the car pool lane if she had a window...

It really isn't hard to put that glass in. Soap is the key for slicking up the rubber.
Having your piece of glass the RIGHT SIZE will save you plenty of pain and grousing and grumbling.

A piece of plastic to practice with will make your life easier too.

The style gasket with the side that opens up is easier to install than the solid sided. You may need to use piano wire with the solid seal.
