I just completed installation of the mud flap kit on my 998 with airlift rear bumper. The close out plates are damaged and frankly very flimsy. Price per unit is ~$60-$70 from our normal HMMWV parts suppliers. For what they are, that's ridiculous.
These parts are injection molded but could be easily reproduced with a 3D printer or fabricated in aluminum sheet. This could be a minor product opportunity.
Q: Does anyone have access to CAD or 3D printing instructions for these parts?
