I would think that you would need the entire bumper for that to work correctly.

I don't think the stock 1009 bumper would work very well.

The stock 1008 bumper might work though.

Also need to convert the carrier's bolt pattern to six lug or swap in 1008 axles into your 1009.

i was just thinking the carrier not so much the rims need the space in the cargo area
