Curious the value of an M996 Ambulance body in real good shape. Body only not the HMMWV chassis.

Do you have a picture of it? Is it the 4-man one? I might be interested in it. We have one already thats been fully rebuilt and ready to use, would like to add another to the collection. Thanks Brent

It would be an interesting project to mount this body on a civilian chassis. Maybe like a F150 or something. It might make a great little camper.

So a couple years back I bought some stuff through govplanet, but it was actually a private collection of surplus.
They said they were selling the ambulance bodies directly to plan b or one of those other upfitter type groups for $5k eack. The armored version was $8k.
This was not too long after someone did an overland camper out of one, so demand was high.
Not sure if those prices still apply, as it has been almost 2 years since then.
