The hoka hey bike race from florida to homer alaska ended this 4th weekend. Got a few pics of the festivities. Also pic of my bumper party! Was a great weekend here. Hope all had excellent 4th of july!

I've driven the Alaskan Highway 6 times, 4 of which were in the winter and 2 were from Anchorage to Florida, with a car or semi truck but never on a motorcycle. My hat's off to those who participated as that's one wild ride to do on a bike. I used to work as a mechanic for the House Of Harley in Anchorage. They have a sister store in Soldotna. I wonder how many riders needed new rear tires or belts before they made the return ride back home.
