Maybe I missed it? But I'm kind of surprised that no one has made a thread on What to look for when looking at a potential gama goat purchase. A "so you want to buy a Gama Goat" sticky. Couldn't hurt....

Since there's a limited number of them out there or for sale you have a limited number of people looking for the information. Check some of the threads about what current owners are doing and you'll get an idea of what to check for.

With something like a gamma goat, it is very unlikely you would be purchasing from a novice (or know nothing) anyway. And likely you would be asking all the relevant questions and some that aren't, But advice would be a plenty I should think. It was with ours. And when I sell, I would also pass on relevant and important information. (includes driving).

Too bad gamagoat.com isn't around anymore. When the owner died his family had no interest in keep it going. All the intel is lost.

Why not start one for others to share?

Sounds like a new project for someone with IT abilities and time on their hands. I would but my computer knowledge pretty much stopped at Windows 97.
