How far and how fast can the HMMWV be towed

With the transfer case in netural how far and how fast can the vehical be towed--can the front axel be off the ground during the tow or will that wreck the transfer case--Thanks

My Friend towed his for 70 miles at 55mph...no problems..flat towed behind a duece,,

I think it depends on who's chasing you.

No one has a flat bed you can borrow? Im sure there is a TM on how to tow a HMMWV.

I would say thats the safe limit on flat towing

TM 9-2320-280-10 dated 1996, page 2-126, parg 2-24 "Towing Operation" states the following:
Do not exceed a towing speed of 30 mph (48 kph) or a towing distance of 30 mi (48 km)
without first removing the front propeller shaft and/or rear propeller shaft with the parking brake
rotor as specified in table 2-3. Failure to remove the necessary propeller shafts may result in​

damage to the transmission and/or transfer case.
