I use my fuel guage as my odometer.

The tank is 15" tall, and holds 50 gals. Simple math says 3.333333333 gallons/inch.

That should be close enough, unless you're anal.

Today i did a run to 2 different car shows and I was getting 30 miles per inch of fuel burned. That works out to a even 9mpg .

I'm not complaining one bit running the 6 53" wheels not to mention that the tank was filled with wmo/gas mix.
