How Slow is a 6.5 NA HMMWV Really?

After putting 60 or so miles on it, I have to say, I'm very pleasantly surprised by the 6.5 NA. No, it's definitely not fast, but it has not nearly as bad as I thought it might be. Guess I set my expectations nice and low. No problem getting up to speed and is plenty peppy off-road, even all the way up at over 12k elevation when I ran the Wheeler Lake trail.

I'm sure I'll be trying to turbo it eventually, but I'm not in the big rush I thought I'd be.
