How to determine which stabilizer I need...

I am looking at replacing the front steering stabilizer. Looks like an oem in place. Anyone have any nuggets to pass on? I was looking at KYB stock replacement, anyone like something better?

Q: Do I buy the same one as for the K5 Civvy? Or bump it up?
