That HET is made to order for the job. But I'm not believing my eyes:

- Trees that size from Florida!?

And it's hard to tell if they're evergreen or hardwood. What's the story!?

Hi Another Ahab, the truck is located in Suriname where we are hauling tropical logs. Mostly heavy logs like Ipe, Purpleheart and other species. A lot of work to convert it into a log truck. Still have some work to do on it...like adding a headache rack and some small stuff.

I was going to say. That picture had me wondering!

I've been ALL over Florida, from one end to the other. I mean you know, +/-.

I was thinking those trees and that clay, Florida!? I never saw any woods in the State anywhere with trees or soils like THAT.

they are for air filtration. they have quick couplers on the end of the hose for a mask.

Do you have any idea where to get the masks for the HET filtration system?

A while back, but I rotated all the tires on the HET and took a few reference photos of the brake drums.

Hey guys, been working on mine. I put 2 whelen amber rotating beacons on the rear cab corners, and the route clearance lights, purchased from ScubaCat. Quick question.. The aux winch had a small crack in the case( which was professionally welded), and now, It pays out a few inches and then stops. Any ideas?

It is part of the air conditioner kit. Since the A/C occupies the interior storage area, the kit comes with this add-on external box.

I replaced the sun-faded, couldn't-see-through, in-danger-of-cracking plastic dome sight glasses with brass/glass ones.

I added this Linear Logic ScanGaugeD to my HET so I could figure out why my check engine light was on as well as gain access to more data from sensors on the engine. The boost and fuel gallons per hour are useful to me.
