how to hook up the battreys in the m1008

i have an m1008 and tokk the battreys out bacuse i had to change the inner fender andnow knowbody know how to hook them back up i put two brand new battries in it and it still wont start u got it hook up to what i think is right and it will just turn 2 or three time then the starter will just start chattring

Did you hook them up in series? You need 24volts to start it.

it wouldnt start if you hooked them up in series backwards

front batery is negative -ground / positve goes to neg on 2nd battery

Rear battery positive goes to top of terminal bar.

Front battery negative goes to the radiator support
Front battery positive goes to the rear battery negative
Rear battery positive goes to the firewall junction block
Small 12V feed wire should be on the rear battery negative
