I have searched the forums and can't seem to find any information on how to get my NOS Green brush guard on my M998.

I have one of those small bumpers in the front with three holes in it and tow hooks. Does that have to be removed?

I like of like it. Is there a way to keep it and the tow hooks, or do I need to buy a different brush guard?

Here are some pics. Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

if i remember right you have to use pins on part of the install or you cant raise the hood. I thought i remember it being a different bumper that took that brushguard but thats been too many beers ago i guess.

The 2 "L" shaped brackets attach to your bumper using 2 bolts each. Then the brushguard get attached to the brackets. The bolts to hold the brushguard in place go into the bottom holes and the pins go into the top holes. The metal stops on the brushguard face outwards. Just don't forget to take out the pins and lower the brushguard out of the way before you open the hood lol.

I hope this helps.
Cheers, Bob
