I did what guy above just said, but I put in a double throw switch so that the two wires were electrically apart until the switch was turned on to ground the wait light and relay. Keeping them electrically separated until they are grounded on. Now the relay flips and the wait light comes on. Previously the prior owner had tied into the wiper motor power wire to power his glow plug switch. I'll never know why.
