HI yup they are right, it is same as a civ p/u and most parts for 73-87 (cucv body is 81-87) chevy's are not worth a lot. ask PICK N PULL etc.

The OD paint on the CUCV frame EASILY makes it worth more than a civvy frame... :) - it's all in how you market it!

If it's a young guy, you should cut him a deal. Kids that want to learn how to wrench and be interested in this type of hobby are few and far between. Tell him you will give him the frame in exchange for his XBOX or Playstation. When he gets the truck done, he can get his gaming console back:D
