Here is a pic of the overload spring everyone is talking about. This is on my M1028A2 (notice the bed is not stock it is a deuce bed) Also this was with 2200lbs of wood pellets in the back.. FWIW my vin starts with 1GCHD and I have the NP205 transfercase. My drivers door does have an M1008 tag on it. Me guesses the door was replaced somewhere along the line.
