Haven't been around in a while -- my M1009 has been super reliable over the last 3 years - I do the usual oil, fuel filters and regular oil changes, BUT... I think it's time I actually gave the truck some attention.
I've noticed that the truck has developed a "shaking" (more than usual) and almost feels like it wants to stall or die when idling - ESPECIALLY when I come up to a stop light after a short trip.
So I am curious - How can I set the timing? The truck has 120k miles so I assume the timing chain and gears have probably worn. Is there an easy way to adjust this without spending $10,000.00 on a special diesel tool.
ALSO -- how can I diagnose bad or failing injectors? I think that might have something to do with the idling issues?
