because I've seen it listed several ways.

I've got a standard 1st generation brush guard which would look pretty good sand blasted and painted, but I'd like a stronger bumper.

H1 looks like a possibility, EARLY H1 brush guards said to fit early Humvees, not sure I want to take a gamble, plus they look too civilian.

GUARD,BRUSH,VEHICUL PART OF KIT P/N 57K438 the 2" tubular type looks promising. Figure 467 of 24P-2 says "for A2 vehicles only".

With a Milemarker 18k hydraulic winch, what kind of modifications will I need to bolt this unit up? Or can I? I've looked around and failed to find any installation instructions for the kit.

If someone has those I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

D'oh! Meant to add this.

Looks like something COULD be cobbled up, holes seem to be in the right place, but the cable guide/rollers are in the way of the lower bracket.

57k4387 is only 1 1/2" thick and bends easy.
the mounting brackets should fit the bumper in that pic. they bolt in the 2 offset holes on each side of the fairlead.

Thanks. Is it aluminum or steel? Tubing should bend less than the coat hanger-metal they used first generation, no?
