Just curious, what do you guys think about the Hybrid idea that AM General was showing as "Silent Mode" in the video? That makes me wonder where the electric motor would be located, the only ways I can imagine that being possible is to divorce the transfer case and put it between the transmission and transfer case or change out the geared hubs for electric motors.

Silent mode is a bit of a stretch. While driving, the bodies and frames on these things scream more than Björk.

Why not in the “typical” location between the engine and transmission?

Integrated in the gearbox is the easeyest way... batterys under the bad where the extendet tank should be

Edit, I've seen that one before, I don't know how that banks version can be useful in anyway with the batteries and inverter taking up all of the cargo area

My guess is it’s just proof of concept prototype, that would undergo a lot of tidying up as it made its way towards reality.
