I'm still curious, so I was giving this thread a bump-
Why is it that you can't just rob the entire system (box, pump, column, steering wheel, ect.) off of a M54 (or similar) truck? If the axles are similar in width and the frame is a similar size, what make it not work? Is it just the physical size of the box? Seems like if you had a donner truck it would be really easy... Has anyone tried it??

Clear what - the pitman arm of the 710 Saginaw box, when turning full right? Then my answer would be NO, not with A3-wheels; they have more than 10" of backspace!

To run 15,5's with no interference you need wheels with 8" or less backspace.
