Hydroboost Swap

Hi Gang,

Question for those of you that have gone through this before:

Is it possible (worth the effort) to swap out the hydroboost and not open up the brake system? That is, can I leave the brake lines attached to the master cylinder and not have to rebleed the system and still be able to remove the hydroboost?

Does that make any sense?

Thanks!

Yes, I have done exactly that. I used bungee cords hooked in the hood under structure to hold it up while I did the final swithceroo of the hydroboost units. a person holding the master cylinder would also work, but you might have to buy them a beer for their efforts.
