Hi suffering comrades

My Oelpressure Gauge shows very high values when the engine is off (90psi) . And it climbs to the max of 120psi when engine is runnng. You could say, a offset ;-)
But i the case of oelpressur, i like to reade a trustable value.

The Parts for monitoring the oepressure, the sensor and the gauge, are ridiculously expensive. The Sensor costs more than 300.- bucks here in europe.

And the gauge is around 200 bucks when it is in sale. https://www.sotaparts.com/anzeige-temperatur-militar-2.html

No sir, this is to be avoided!

So my question. Is there a option to measure out the sensor? So i can figure it out on whitch side the broken part is located?
Whitch voltage means whitch pressure?

Thanks,
Gerd

As long as you are showing pressure when running you should be good to go. These gauges are notorious for their bounce and inaccurate pressure readings. When running mine could be at 90psi or 30psi with a lot of bounce.

I changed out my senser and had no change so I will replace the gauge with a new one. You can sometimes find a good deal on these on Flebay.

Yep, when mines show 0, I just tap on the gauge and it goes to around 60
