I finally found a complete afordable set of Miltary beadlocks for my truck. Found them on craigslist, decent price too. The tires have a decent amount of tread left on them but they are worn a little uneven. They ride ok, I'm probably gonna take these tires off and put the other set of 36's I have that I got brand new and try balancing them with air soft BB's for a better ride. I love the way these wheels and tires look. Much better than the aluminum rims I had before. Used 2" spacers up front, and 1.5" in the rear. Got a great deal on them at a local 4X4 shop. Would have went 2" all around, but that was part of why the price was so good, and it looks fine. I would have loved to use 1.5" in the front so they tucked under the fender just a little more, but they wouldn't have fit. Take a look.

I thought the other rims added some class to the truck. Looks more like a MV with the beadlocks.

To be perfectly honest that was the point, I love the other wheels. I've had them on a couple cars I've owned. But too many people thought it was just a cvilian truck I painted or someones old hunting truck.

The lift is a 4 inch with Tuff country HD springs up front and blocks in the rear for now. Someday I plan on doing a shackle flip in the rear and get rid of the blocks. Truck also has a sway bar relocation/quick disconnect kit, drop pitman arm, extended stainless steel brakelines and a new rear drive shaft.

I am on CK5 but I haven renewed my membership yet for this year.

I haven't tried the 37' radials because there aren't really any around me. I managed to stumble on my first set of 36's locally, and then these came along with the wheels. When both sets wear out, I may try a set of the Goodyear Wrangle MTRs which I see the miltary is running on the brand new HMMWVs. I saw a set on a brand new armored up HMMWV at the NYC auto show on what appeared to be about 20 bolt beadlocks, very cool. Hopefully they are of better quality than the previous tires they have been using. I know the 37's are far better than the bias 36's. But from what I've heard they still leave a litle to be desired.

Now I just need to pick up one or two extra wheel asemblies for a fullsize spare and one for extra parts or second spare for the long tirps/rallies. And ofcourse build my spare tire carrier.
