ID item on firewall. M51A2

So, I have this 1967 M51A2. I'm going to replace the wiring harness on the truck but I found an unknown item on the firewall. It's a box right on the firewall. It has a decent size cannon plug going into it. Check out this pic.

I believe that could be the turn signal flasher unit.

I guess I'll need to remove it to see what it is. In this view you can see the flasher above that unknown device.

Seriously, after looking in the TM, I'm going to say it's the warning buzzer. The TM shows the buzzer on the engine side if the firewall.

Them be Bendix connectors, not Cannon.

That's my guess. Heavy wires going in?
