It is for a bendix socket, used with the Vic-1. CABLE CX-13089 fits into the bendix socket.

RE: Re: Bracket

Earliest of trucks had it as std equipment, then it became part of the Radio Installation Kits. Most of the dealers who have radio stuff will have the plug. Of course, it has different pigtail lengths depending on the application...such as in the M38 where the mount is behind the passenger seat and the batteries are in front of the windshield, etc.

It is to mount a Bendix Connector in to use as a power source for radios, etc.
Does anyone have a part number for the cable and bendix connector shown above? I've looked in the TMs and 24P and cannot find it. I *even* searched the hell out of the threads. Lots of P/Ns for the VIC-1 setup but not the cable/connector from the bracket to the battery.

And help is appreciated.

Also, anyone who has VIC-1 parts/cables who want to sell them, I'm starting to collect the parts for an install.
