War material

If it is military / war material, it needs a form 6, even if its just to be safe. It was originally used by the Bundeswehr so it would most likely count.

Sorry, but its really not all that bad to complete the Form 6.

Is an ATF Form 6 needed to import an ex-Bundeswehr U1300? Anyone know for sure?

No, check with your Broker first and be sure there is a dialogue between them and the customs folks. I have imported 119 Unimogs, never had one require a Form 6. What you will run into is that post 1987 unimogs are not EPA/DOT exempt technically, that and they are and can be subject to a 25% duty.

You will need an EUC to get it out of Germany if that is where it is coming from.

Keep in mind that US customs has one year to force return/disposal of your item.

Make sure you have a top notch broker, or at least use someone that can import for you.

Is someone telling at your broker etc that it requires a Form 6 ?
