Keep forgetting about the triangle thing. So, is the triangle used for 1990 or does it not include that year? If it is included, then this rather goodlooking Goodyear would be 29 years old.

The triangle mark was added starting 1990 to differentiate i.e. a (340) production date (week 34, 1980) from a (>340) or (340<) (week 34, 1990).
Same case for a (341)vs (341<) and so on. Finally in 2K they came up with the 4 digit code.
So, as stated before: 3 digits, no triangle = '80 decade!

Just saw your code, Bjorn: (056<) = "only" 13 years old!

also as a side note... most tires should only be capped at most of three times and they are usually marked how many times they have been done so, however if you are like me I personally hate caps unless for a trailer etc but defin never caps on steer and still hate them on drivers as well...
