Information for a M-923

So i recently bought a 1984 5-ton am general. Tag says its a cargo M-923 6X6
My first issue is i have no idea what engine this truck has, i can tell its a Cummins but the ID plate is gone.
is there anywhere i can find oht what motor, and where to get more info, like a parts diagram? I know i have a transmission leak and a leaking hub seal

Well now i know the engine. Did you have ang diagrams for it? Or know where i can find them?

I tried looking there. I didnt see any threads mentioning the M-923

A lot of designation is M939 series.

Would you use the manual for the M920 or is that a different truck? Theres not one specifically for an M923 and i dunno which one is the closest

You can look and review the different TMs, pretty sure the M923 did not have ABS, and CTIS system,
Pretty sure the 250 is a 16 liter, but I might stand corrected.
You can just open them up and look at the different ones and if it looks like yours that would be a good way to go.
Maybe somebody else will chime in with that truck.

The M920 is part of the M916 series of trucks (completely different)

The NHC-250 is 855 cid (14 liter) and is a pretty good engine.
