Do all DB2 injection pumps have the spring loaded shaft protruding from the front (where the timing gear bolts on) of the pump in the center I bought a used one and it does not have this and I have seen pictures of other that look the same but my old injection pump did have this shaft

My new pump looks like the first link
the second link is what the old one looked like

Just pull the spring and shaft from your old pump and put it in the new one. I just replaced mine last week and had to do that, comes right out.

Ah jeez the pump has to come back out aua

I had tried pulling it out of the old one but it didnlt seem to want to come so I figured it was more complex than that

and I saw pictures of pumps without them so I figured they just changed designs
