Injection pump

I bought a injection pump. The new pump only has the shaft in the front and nothing else. I am trying to this part. I am needing some guidance for exactly how to remove and install this shaft guide and the gear from the old pump to the new one. The IP TM doesn't even say anything about it.

Tactical Repair on YT might have some info. I don't think I have any spare/bad pumps. I know a guy from here moving there that has some deuces...

I have another pump ready to go. But I didn't know exactly the proper procedure to remove the highlighted part and install it on the new pump. Sadly he didn't cover anything about removing this part.

Motor won't start. I think it's a pump issue. I put on new injector nozzles. Double checked timing, removed, cleaned and double checked the HH was installed one tooth behind the pointer with the half moon centered.

Not even a hint of trying to start.
