Injector Pump Question

I am also a member over at www.thedieselplace.com and in one of the threads a guy said that the CUCV injector pumps were not as good as the civilian pumps at handling thicker fluids. I thought I had read the exact opposite on here but I can't find it again. I am looking for M1009 because I have a limitless supply of used motor oil, atf, etc. My plans are to filter and blend with diesel. I am not trying to start a WMO debate; just wondering what one of you experts think about the injector pump of the CUCV versus the civilian model.

There is not much difference between the two military pump has near 1cc higher output and slight timing offset.
