I installed a 6.5 NA in my 1038 and along with it a 200A Alt.
I have come across two issues,
First, the amp gauge stays in the yellow for about 30 seconds before it jumps up into the green. Does not matter what RPM.
Second, at idol is it making an odd clicking noise, not sure where it is coming from but somewhere in/around the alt. As soon as I increase the RPM it goes away.
Any Ideas ?
On a side not, the upgrade from a 6.2 to a 6.5 is really nice and well worth it.
