Insurance rates

Hi I was just curious what everyone is paying for insurance on their Humvees? I have a ‘93 M1038 and State Farm originally was charging $33 a month (close to $400 a year) then for no reason and without notice jumped me up to $81 a month. I called and asked why and they couldn’t give me much of an answer other than blame corporate HQ. I am looking to switch to someone else and wondering what an average rate is?

Since every state has different insurance laws, the price in any other state has no relevance to your insurance costs.

So the gecko tells me "oh yeah man we will cover your Humvee for like $340 a year liability insurance only"
So I pay in full and a month later I get a bill for another $400
Oops sorry man our mistake we thought you were going to use it for parade duty etc.....
So.....about $700 a year for liability and I carry the medium to higher limits

My guess is the "HMMWV's are dangerous" rumor is going around the insurance companies so rates are going up.
