intake manifol

Anyone here know where I might find an intake manifold for the 1A08 engine? I've tried the usual, Colman's, Saturn surplus. thanks

Did you try Delks?

nothing from Delks. Maybe such a small part isn't worth the time to look. I will try to have it welded but it broke right at the flange so hopefully a good tig guy can get to it

I've had 1 Tig'd at work I'm planning on repairong a couple of them myself as I now have a Mig welder. The Intake tube is the weak link on the 1a08's. I do have a bunch of other spare parts for them as I scrapped a couple but kept a chunk of the parts. I had some issues trying to modify some other parts using 5356 filler...... I talked to our Weld Engineer at work and he said to use 4043 on the older castings (After I went and found out what alloy they were)

thanks for the info. At least now I know it can be Tig'd
