Intake selection and turbo question

Hello all, I have a quick question about lower intake selection as I button up my turbo addition. I am using all GM parts from a 96 6.5l I bought and rebuilt. The intake that was originally with my M1008 was the dual plane one, the intake that came on the 6.5l turbo was the single plane one. Is there any advantage to using the dual plane one that was with my NA motor or should I just use the single plane that was with the turbo motor? I know that there are some differences between the two in terms of torque and RPM range, maybe some others but that's one thing I don't know a lot about.
MY plan is to just use the single plan that was on the turbo motor as GM felt, for what ever reason, that was the way to go. If there is an advantage to going the other way though, it wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks much!
Greg
