Huh. Shouldn't be on 30 minutes after startup that's for sure.

The indicator lamp just indicates that the ECM has turned the heater ON. It is not a trouble lamp. It illuminates anytime the ECM requests the AIH heater.

It's the equivalent of a "wait to start" lamp on older stuff equipped with glow plugs. But in the AIH's case, the heating element is still used while the engine is in warmup.
