What's that saying?.... "It takes a real man to pull off wearing pink". No arguments here!

LR "Pinkies", wonderful trucks.

This is a WIMK, for those who don't know. Not really the actual Pinky, but close enough, right?

There is at least one WIMK replica in the US already.

It's on the Rover XD chassis but strangely, they reverted to the 300Tdi engine instead of the TD5 or the petrol V8 found in the Snatch.

This is on the list after my LR Snatch gets sorted.

they're quite cool, but not very practical for ermm.....wetter climates. (like where i live).

Also, a good way to light a lot of $$$ on fire, esp in the US where parts for a Wolf LR are almost non-existent.

The Royal Air Force Regiment is an unusual organization, part Regular and part Reservists. One of the reservist squadrons patrolled the perimeter in Kandahar when I was there. They lost one Land Rover on the way back into the wire because there weren't many alternative routes through the minebelts, and Taliban slipped an IED in behind them. It takes guts to fight in an open vehicle.

Truer words.....

a couple of Rangers from this area stomped around the sandbox in the RSOV, the US Ranger's super-cool ride. Kind of a cross between a WMIK and a Pink Panther, but in Ranger Green.
