Is this a deuce tow bar?

These look like they would be the right span to attach to the Deuce, but the skinny end has me stumped.

Looks as though it would make a nice a-frame for the front of a Deuce with just a few modifications.

That would look pretty funny towing a truck, but what the hey, I will take a guess at a tow leg for air craft, to light for an M 88 for sure..... ... OK.... to fast of a look, it looks much bigger now that its brought to my attention, did not even see the walking legs either. oh well, Man they sure would be one heck of an A frame for a truck, may need to be in the bed though, ...

Well if you look close at the pics, I doubt it is a tow bar of any sort, since it has climbing steps going up the legs, just like the 88 has. I bet the pic just is not showing the real size.

They deffinatly look like the boom from an 88

It is the boom off of an "88"......they weigh 4,400 pounds each.

They were designed to lift tanks and other very heavy objects.

Hey James- they're in Huntsville, AL. I want to say there's 36 of them.
Confirmed they're for an M88.
