Is this normal? (Fording Drain, Bottom of Bell Housing)

Hello. Just got a crew cab deuce home after a 9hr ride, and after going under it I got a question. It looks like there is a threaded hole in the bell housing that's missing a drain plug, but there is another drain plug right next to it. I home I'm not burning up a tranny somehow.
I am hoping I'm just being stupid here. Thanks in advance for your help. Dan.

You are fine - the bell housing drain is unplugged unless you are deep fording water. Search plenty of info here on that.

Don't worry, that question has been asked many times.

The plug next to it is the one you would put in the open hole if you are fording.

Thank you so much. I did try to search, but came up empty. Probably didn't word it right. I'm going to swap a front axel boots myself probably to cut my teeth on this thing. I was given scans by one of the forum members (thank you very much Dipstick). Is there a place I should start a thread with what I got.

Does anyone have a clue on what that box on the back of the truck used to be? It's fiberglass.

It looks like some type of trailer body mounted on a heavily customized chassis.

That body was originally built for dually CUCV trucks.
