I have an M35A3 that has numerous John Guest plastic air fittings. I have tried to remove several that were installed into brass fittings and they break off each time. They were apparently installed with pipe dope. The plastic that is left is tougher than I thought and I can't get it out without messing up the threads.
My latest problem is that the fitting from the air switch for the front axle broke and my fear is that I can't get it out to be able to replace the fitting. Any suggestions on the best way to remove the piece of the fitting from the air switch?
