This is the only event where the Ford organization allows POVs on the property - vehicles of all eras - and the military section is allowed to tent over night on property. Awesome for all re-enactors that enjoy providing the educational value and historical perspective. If you like public awareness and interest in your hobby - this is your event. Really cool to roam the facility and see all the different vehicles in addition to the real steam train, model a/t's, and folks dressed in period clothing. They are looking to raise the educational value so please invite your group to come out. Its a real family event at a fantastic location.

Phil Naud has confirmed that he will have his WWII field kitchen at the event to offer chow for registered participants. His cooking is more than enough reason to attend!

I'm really looking forward to coming back to this event. What a great venue for a show, you can't beat it....not to mention the MVCCM is great group of people to handle an event like this.

Here are some pictures from years past to give you an idea of how cool the venue/event is.

Agreed! The Henry Ford has restriction on the historical vehicles but has granted a waiver on the military section so feel free to bring what you want and enter at no cost. Simply click military vehicle, have your insurance policy number handy, skip the driver's license and photo requirements and you're in. According to the organizer, the vehicles will be arranged by Era - WW2, Korea, Vietnam, etc... bring your gear, display, tents, and stay the whole weekend at no cost. Each vehicle gets 4 guests in free (vs. $12 at the gate) and there are several drives/pass in review opportunities. The event gets vehicle/historical interested paying guests - so there are no cotton candy kids spilling coke on you vehicle.
