Just bought an M923 and I have several questions

It's the fan clutch. Take the belt off and run it, I bet the sound goes away.

Nevermind, I just looked(should not have to) and found the OP has started 4 threads about this truck.

I asked about the noise in 3 of them because obviously I'm still searching for the problem. I didn't realize it was against the "rules". I was merely looking for more avenues to pursue.

My air compressor makes a racket but when I'm at 120psi it cuts out so if yours quiets down when your aired up it might be that.
