I did this a couple months ago and haven't had time to post it.
I wanted a strong drop hitch and didn't want it to be a permanent fixture and this was my solution.

So now a standard receiver is at the correct height and sticks out away from the vehicle to prevent the trailer binding during sharp turns.

That's a sweet setup. Where did you get that?

I designed and fabricated it myself.

Here are some pictures of the lock and window install. My biggest tip is do not use the wire that they supplied you with and use good quality wire.

Where did you get the heavy duty lock wires and clips from? What size (or part number) do you recommend?

Is the little electrical box only for the door locks? Can I replace it with an alarm?

Are you referring to the electrical lock wires or the the connecting rods?
The clip is from a variety pack of door lock clips from the local parts store or Amazon.
you may have to drill the original metal a little larger to accommodate the new clips.

The connecting rods come with the door lock kit.
The door lock kit comes with a remote receiver box for the key chain remotes to work with.

It’s permanent.
I was testing the motorcycle hoist. It will ride in this position after I fabricate a mount for it.
There is a hatch in the back porch roof above the motorcycle. You can see the steps in front of the motorcycle. The porch roof will also be a seating/ standing platform.

Yes, gray commercial grade composite deck boards. The stair treads also have it.

I have been following this thread for sometime now and I still think you have the best looking lmtv. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see more progress pics. FYI I am copying a lot of your details and design on the cab interior.

Sorry I’ve been keeping in the dark for the last year. I’ve been under a hard deadline to get the exterior mostly done, because I was losing the shop I had available free of rent. I’ll be finishing the interior in my driveway. The first picture I posted was it in my driveway.

Thanks, It’s a Jeep/Dodge color that goes by a couple names. It’s the same as my 2019 grand Cherokee. Jeep calls it Sting Gray, Dodge calls it Destroyer Gray. So I’m sticking with Destroyer Grey.
