After purchasing core 100 amp and 200 amp generators from Howard a few weeks back, we need to rebuild them. However, a small glitch has ocurred. The data plates on the generators do not have an NSN stamped or evenscrawled into them. We have Item (I presume part) Identification numbers and L.N. serial numbers. We'd really like the NSNs to find needed parts. Here we go:

200 amp:

Item number:

A0013036AA

L.N. serial :

11,327

100 amp:

Item number:

A0013032AA

L.N. serial:

15,884

Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Even better would be a shop willing and able to get these generators running for us!

Thanks everybody!

DR try these guys... http://www.northstarautoelectric.com/

Ask for Brett ( think thats his name)... I have used them for a few things, and they are located about 15-20 min from me.

He even sold me the parts for my m1009 alternator... 4 times.. as I kept misdiagnosing it... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I started with a rectifier... nope, not that, so then we did the diode trio and regulator... nope not that, the dang armeture was bad!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: $150 later... maybe I shoulda had them test it...

oh well, works now, and I have some spare parts to boot... :jumpin:

Mildocs has 3 hits for the 200A item number and one hit for the 100A item number. Since I'm no longer subscribed to mildocs, I can't see the results.

Thanks Kenny! I talked to a Leece-Neville dealer in Houston. They said they would take apart the generators and diagnose the problem(s) for free! They wanted to see these dinosaurs and have a good look-see for themselves. Hopefully these generators are rebuildable.
