The first pic shows my truck with Red's M105 with Red's Deuce behind.
The second is where we said our goodbyes and parted ways.

Finally getting around to uploading the pics. The drive down there Friday took forever to get from Midland to Alpine because of bad weather. No defroster in the deuce meant kidnapping the passenger from another vehicle and having him scrape the driver side windshield constantly.

Spent Friday night in Big Bend state park over by Presidio, then spent the morning driving along the border on highway 170 to meet up with Vped in Terlingua by the National park.

After we met we went to enjoy some of the scenery in the main areas of the park. Driving from here is when the air line blew off of the compressor (better quality lines now). Picked up a few passengers once the line was fixed, probably a chilly ride for them in the back of the truck but they seemed to enjoy it.

From there we stopped for lunch together, then went hiking over to "The Window". My phone died just after we started the hike and I forgot my camera, will get pics from the other Daniel and post them up later.

After the hike we decided to go check out the toughest trail in the area, "Black Gap", in the dark. Not many pictures of the trail but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND POWER STEERING!!!! Steering wheel was constantly jerking and that first turn is extremely tight. Completed the trail in 4x6 with the trailer, other than very sore arms it wasn't bad. Many dry creek bed crossings, could be interesting in the wet season. Took us awhile to finish the trail so we had to camp out there for the night. Used the trailer as the kitchen area and then my tent for the night (windy and around freezing, I was very toasty in there haha).

More pics of the morning drive. Yes, I was taking pictures by hanging my hand out the window while driving, bad ginger hahaha.

Was a fun trip, glad to spend time with Vped and his wife again.

Round trip was roughly 600 miles, other than the no defroster issue and the blown air line things went great for the deuce.
