Leak testing newly installed IP without manifold installed?

Is there a way to test a newly installed IP for leaks before installing the intake manifold? Pretty sure the diesel leak on my 6.2l was from the IP which has been replaced. However, the thought of having to remove the intake manifold again if the diesel leak has not been fixed by the IP swap is not a pleasant one. Thanks in advance.
