Is it permissible to leave a classified ad up, even if all items are sold, just until the buyer receives the item(s)? That way if there are any questions/disputes with items received, the seller can point the pictures in the thread?

Or is this desired to be handled differently?

Please delete your ad when the item is no longer available to purchase.

google cashe will keep them for a while even after deleted. This summer I was out of town and some of my 4 sale ads got deleted but I was able to google my handle and key words and pull them up so I could cut n paste into new ads. The picture upload also stores them for a while.

That is trippy.
I just sold something in classifieds and wondered the same thing.
Chose to delete the threads for the sold items.
Then I see this post... Nostradamus must be at work here.
