Can you replace just the lens? Cold shock must have been what cracked the glass on my nice LED headlights that came with it.

If not, where can you get a cheap replacement? A quick search shows they're really expensive. Mine look like this:

K ... so ...

This was not my first planned post, but ...

Several LED offers on fleabay. I'm watching listed pairs between $50 and $200. So, not cheap, but expensive is relative.

Waaay brief since this is a post - I pick up my 1971 M35a2 next month. Hope to build a box and do an overland style RV. Texas Gulf Coast is home.

Those things are ridiculously expensive as you already know, have you thought about just trying some regular old LED 7 each headlights ?
I have different versions of these in my trucks and they work great and they're cheap .

Just a thought ...

Whatever fits would be fine, the cheapest replacement that looks just like it costs about $150.

So if I could get a set of replacements and adapters for less than that it would work.

One big concern I would have is to make sure they are DOT approved, or risk a ticket from the Po-Po...

I've also read that the thickness of the lens can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. That can create a problem that the lens ring or screws won't work.

But I think we all can agree, the old incandescent bulbs are lacking.

They're getting cheaper, these look almost as strange as your original ones, I bet with some butt connectors and some wire crimpers you could have your original military connections put right on these in no time .
